ABOUT

ABOUT

The Three Sisters Guesthouse is located in the "Lost Sierra" - an area known for its uncrowded and pristine nature and welcoming spirit. The property is situated on 12 peaceful acres adjoining forests and meadows in the Mohawk Valley outside the town of Graeagle in Plumas County.

We are 45 minutes from Truckee and one hour from Reno.

Our valley rests at the base of up to 6,500-foot mountain peaks which include the “Three Sisters” mountains who together create the abundant water and nurturing grounding energy people experience when here. The native people of this valley understood the power of this energy and recognized it as sacred.

OUR STORY

OUR STORY

Your host Shae came to the area with her partner Jason and their three daughters nearly 20 years ago and stayed at an old fishing cabin on the creek one mile down the road from the guesthouse. On a walk one day, the property of the Three Sisters called to them.  The Three Sisters has welcomed guests for relaxing into the beauty and expansiveness of the area ever since.

Shae is a licensed clinical psychologist and psychospiritual practitioner.  Hosting and creating sacred space are Shae's gift and passion.
